📖Text: Luke 5:1-11
 
1. Submit to God/Jesus - Jesus Enters the Ordinary – He Comes to Where We Are* (Luke 5:1-3) and our part to admit or accept who we are   - The crowd presses to hear *the word of God* (v. 1) – Jesus is teaching with authority.  
   - He chooses Peter's boat as His pulpit (v. 2-3) – Jesus steps into everyday life (workplace, routine, exhaustion).  
   - *Supporting references*:  * Moses staff in Ezo. 4:2=4 was a sign, Exo. 7:10-13
     - Jesus often meets people in daily settings (e.g., Zacchaeus in a tree – Luke 19:1-10; woman at the well – John 4:4-26).       - God uses ordinary vessels (e.g., a donkey – Num 22; a boy's lunch – John 6:9).  
  2. Obedience and demonstrate Faith - Jesus Calls Us to the Deep – Obedience Despite Logic or Past Failure* (Luke 5:4-7)  
   - Command: "Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch" (v. 4) – daytime, wrong time, wrong place by human standards.     - Peter's honest doubt + humble obedience: "Nevertheless at Your word..." (v. 5).  
   - Result: Nets overflowing, boats sinking under abundance (vv. 6-7).     - *Supporting references*:  
     - Obedience before understanding (e.g., Abraham – Gen 12:1-4; Naaman dipping in Jordan – 2 Kings 5).

4. God’s Grace gives God gives what you have not asked for but you need & a New Purpose –

   - They bring boats to land, leave everything, and follow Him (v. 11).     - *Supporting references*:  
     - "Fishers of men" call echoes Jeremiah 16:16 and becomes central mission (Matt 4:19; Mark  1:17).
